Replacement Pool Motor Installation Service
Standard Service Includes: Delivery
and installation of your pool pump replacement motor.
We will disassemble the old motor from your pool
pump. During the process of replacing a pool motor
it is best to replace the ceramic motor shaft seal
assembly. This is a part that we include at no additional
cost to you when we replace your pool motor. This
part prevents pool water from touching the motor
portion of the pool pump system. We will provide
any needed electrical materials and wire the new
pool motor. We verify the input voltage to your pool
motor and ensure that the motor is converted to either
the 120 or 240 volt service. On some motor replacements
certain internal parts of the pump may also need
to be replaced. These items are ONLY replaced if
they cannot be removed from the current motor of
if we see a visual crack. The items that sometimes
need replacement are the pump impellor and/or the
motor mounting plate. Whenever we replace a part
we leave the old part for you to see the problem.
This ensures our customers that we operate an honest
service business. If we need to replace any additional
items in order to get your pump to operate correctly
we will add the cost of these items to your final
statement. We will perform a pump operation systems
check to ensure the motor is operating correctly.
We will provide the homeowner with all warranty and
registration materials. If the homeowner is present
at the time of the installation we will answer any
questions on the new motor operations. We will place
the old motor in your trash receptacle.
